Everyone loves a surprise party! Ima Josie’s clueless about this! All of us kept the whole thing a secret until this big day. They didn’t slip any party details so Ima won’t get suspicious. We were all wearing formal attire in RED, a popular Chinese color corresponding with fire, symbolizes good fortune and joy. Before Ima entered the door, the lights have been switched off. The moment she entered the door, we had someone switch on the lights and made everyone greet her in chorus, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IMA!!” She cried with tears of joy. And so my heart melted!! ♥
Good Samaritans STILL DO EXIST!
Earlier this evening, I went to the mall nearby our office to have some “girl bonding” with two of my closest office mates. After that, I have decided to grab a quick dinner because I felt really hungry that time. To be very honest, as a commuter most of the time, I’m a very cautious person, so I fold my money and slip it inside my slacks,(I won’t mention the amount but of course, it’s got some value). As I was about to eat, I can’t resist the urge to pee first before eating my meal. I’m quite “balisawsaw” as what most people coin it, I drink water like crazy! Haha. After peeing and washing my hands, I got back to my seat and after a few minutes, I suddenly remembered my money! I tried to check it but it’s gone! I had to go back to the restroom and ask for the crew to double check the area.. I was almost teary-eyed and I prayed..
I was sweating profusely and as I was about to lose hope, a little girl walked up to me and handed the money over! I was so shocked and hugged her tightly.
I also thanked the crew and the mother of the little girl, May God bless these people! I feel so happy knowing that GOOD SAMARITANS STILL DO EXIST!
my newest addiction: Make Up Forever! Before I buy a product, I always make it a point to go to makeupalley.com so I could research about it and know if it’s a “holy grail” product or not. Plus, I found out that famous makeup artist Robbie Pinera (of Cosmo Mag) used MUFE HD fonda on cover girls Marian Rivera and Georgina Wilson. After reading a lot of positive reviews about the HD Foundation, I immediately dropped by at Shang ri-la mall (since it’s a holiday, I have more free time) and this product wowed me! It looks great on photos, videos and in any light.
Funny because I also ended up buying Rouge Artist Natural lipsticks because I find it really wearable and light, it’s a mix of lipgloss and lipstick. Feels nice on the lips and non-drying (:
